                  ERS Broker Awards Prize Promotion

                                       TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The promoter is: ERS SYNDICATE MANAGEMENT LIMITED (“ERS”) whose registered office is at 52-54 Leadenhall Street, London, EC3A 2BJ.
  2. This promotion will start on the 2nd January 2018. The closing date for this promotion will be 10th February 2018.
  3. The competition is only open to employees of brokers that have a Terms of Business Agreement (“TOBA”) with ERS. Such employees must be residents of the United Kingdom and aged 18 or over. The competition is not open to employees of the ERS Insurance Group and their families and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the competition.
  5. Multiple entries are allowed.
  6. How to participate: Entrants will automatically be entered into the competition when they request a classic car insurance quote from ERS during the promotion period. Nothing in these terms and conditions overrides an entrant’s duty to place the interests of its clients before all other considerations when arranging and administering motor insurance policies under the TOBA, nor shall these terms and conditions override any legal or regulatory requirements (whether obligatory or advisory) which may apply to the entrant, its employer, ERS or the placing of insurance business including for the avoidance of doubt the entrant’s and its employer’s obligation to treat customers fairly. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall override any restriction or requirement which may apply to the entrant in the entrant’s contract with its employer.
  7. Each request for an insurance quote must be received within the competition entry period. After this time no further entries to the competition will    be permitted.
  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  9. Winners will be chosen as follows: The winners will be the 20 entrants, selected by a panel of judges, including one independent member, out of all entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions, and considered by the judges to have requested a quote for the most unique classic vehicles. The name of the judges are available on request.
  10. The winners will be notified by email or phone call within 28 days of the closing date of the competition. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 24 hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  11. All prizes will be delivered within 28 working days from the date that the Promoter receives confirmation of the delivery address of the winner.
  12. The prizes for the competition are a pair of VIP OR STANDARD tickets to the London Classic Car Show for each of the 20 winners selected by the judges
  13. The prizes are not transferable and no alternative is available.
  14. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  15. The winners of the competition agree to the Promoter publishing their name and location and using their name, image and entry to the competition in any publicity material.

  17. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  18. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit in any way the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence. Subject to that, the Promoter shall have no liability for any delay and/or failure to perform any obligation to any entrant that is caused by: (a) technical problems of any kind which may limit or prevent any person’s participation in the promotion; (b) any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the allocation of the prizes; or (c) any other events beyond the Promoter’s control that may cause the promotion to be disrupted or corrupted or may lead to loss of the prizes.
  19. Entry to the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Promoter reserves the right to change or cancel the terms of this promotion at any time without liability to entrants where it is unable to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions as a result of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond Promoter’s reasonable control.
  20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or any other Social Network.
  21. Any personal data submitted by entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and Promoter’s privacy policy, which can be found at here.
  22. The promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
