ERS is pleased to announce the appointment of Donna Willis as Head of Personal Injury Claims.

Donna joins from QBE European Operations, where she was Head of Casualty Claims with responsibility for £900m in claims reserves and a team of 110 people across several locations.

Prior to this, Donna spent 15 years with AXA in a variety of Claims roles covering all the main classes of general insurance business. During her career, Donna has been recognised by the British Insurance Awards, Post Magazine and the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Donna commences her role at ERS today (September 29th) and reports directly to Claims Director Peter Smith. He said he was extremely pleased that to have attracted someone of Donna’s capability into this critical area, with a proven track record in strategic planning and process improvement.

Donna will have responsibility for ERS’ personal injury claims strategy and performance management, delivered through its specialist teams in Brentwood, Essex. Using her experience in transformational change this Senior Management Team role will also influence the direction of the wider Claims and ERS business agendas.

Donna’s appointment follows the hire of Jon Byford as Head of Retail Motor in June.
