Header Newhires X

Over the last two years we have seen exceptional growth in our developing propositions. This has been particularly strong within the areas of Commercial Motor, Agriculture and Prestige as our hard to replicate propositions gain increasing traction with brokers.

We're therefore pleased to announce a number of new appointments, and some promotions, across these teams.

These appointments reflect our ability to attract and nurture underwriting talent as well as our commitment to developing our specialist propositions and expanding our regional footprint.

Promotions

  • Matthew Perry joins our agriculture team as an Underwriter and brings a wealth of experience having joined us from AIUA.
  • Sam Budge has joined the London team as an Underwriter for Taxi. Sam has spent the last year working within our dedicated agricultural operations team in Swansea where he has gained excellent underwriting knowledge and experience.

New hires

  • Mitul Malkan joins ERS as Product Manager for Transportation, Specialist Commercial Vehicle (SCV) and Showmans business. He joins from Allianz Personal Lines.
  • Katie Furzer has joined the Minibus and Coach team as an Underwriter and previously worked at Bircroft and Towergate.
  • Annie Roberstson has taken over the role of Product Manager for Prestige. Annie has been leading our High Risk proposition team for the last two years bringing excellent experience from within bespoke risks.
  • James Neild has also joined the Prestige team as Regional Trading Underwriter for the North. James has significant high net worth insurance experience from roles within Hiscox, Zurich Private Clients and Oak Underwriting.
  • Stuart Boles adds to our investment in the North joining Fleet as Regional Trading Underwriter for the region and brings a wealth of Fleet experience and was previously at Axa.

We're delighted to bring new underwriting capability into these teams whilst promoting from within. We have invested heavily in these propositions and with even more specialists now on hand, look forward to continuing to develop mutually beneficial broker relationships.
