It’s been just over a month since Saad joined ERS as our Non-Standard Product Manager, and he’s already making an impact. With a career rooted in motor insurance and proven senior leadership experience, Saad brings a unique blend of product knowledge and strategic oversight- especially valuable to brokers navigating the complexities of the non-standard market.
A Career built in motor – and a strategic step into leadership
Saad’s journey in insurance began in personal lines motor, with roles at Direct Line and LV=, where he spent eight years serving the broker market. More recently, he took on a senior leadership role at Pet Protect, an MGA specialising in pet insurance. While this was a shift in product, it was a deliberate move to broaden his strategic and leadership experience.
“Pet Protect was about stepping into a senior leadership role - developing strategy, owning outcomes, and driving change. But motor is where I’ve always felt at home, and ERS gave me the opportunity to bring that leadership back into a sector I know.”
Building broker relationships on a strong team foundation
After his first few weeks at ERS, one thing has stood out above all: the collaborative culture.
“Everyone is so supportive and team oriented. I’ve never once felt like an outsider. It’s clear everyone here is pulling in the same direction, and the results follow naturally from that culture.”
Now fully embedded in the business, Saad is turning his focus toward building broker relationships and growing the impact of ERS’s non-standard motor offering.
“I’m excited to get back into the rhythm of motor - working closely with brokers to understand their needs and deliver products that suit our aligned goals.”
Outside the office
Life for Saad is all about family.
“My kids run the show! I’ve got a 10-year-old boy, a 6-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old boy. Everything I do, at work and at home, is for them. They’re my world.”
